Welcome to Imperial Tramontano Hotel

Imperial Tramontano Hotel With a history dating back to the 16th century, the Tramontano was originally a private mansion but was then lovingly converted into a hotel in 1812. The charming hotel and its spectacular views of the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius have captivated many; from Byron and Shelley to Keats and Milton. Even royalty have been guests of this timeless treasure, including Edward VII as Prince of Wales in 1862, then later again as King. Books have been written here, music scores composed and poems inspired. The rooms overlook either the sea or garden, and the beach, which is 60 metres below the hotel, is accessed by a lift that serves all the floors in the hotel.
