AVAILABLE MAY TO OCTOBER - The Despo Hotel is 600 metres from Gouves sandy beach and approximately two miles from the centre of Gouves village. Gouves is a small, quiet resort and a popular choice for holidays in Crete, with a pretty old town and a sandy beach. The seafront area has a selection of cafes, bars and restaurants and the town, small boutiques and souvenir shops. There is a hotel-run shuttle bus to the beach daily and it is there you will find a water sport centre with all the usual activities. Built in a traditional rustic style, the Hotel Despo is surrounded by mature, well kept gardens and has a beautiful backdrop of the Dikti Mountains.
