In the following pages you will find all the possibilities and services of our hotel. Hotel Cristóbal Colón was built in 1971 and completely renovated during the winter of 2001-2002. It is situated on the Playa de Palma only 200 metres from the beach in the quiet residential area of quotSometimesquot surrounded by pine trees combining the quality of our facilities with excellent service in order to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Good public transport connection to the centre of town, a distance of 12 km. Distance to the airport: 7 km. Hotel Cristóbal Colón was built in 1971 and completely renovated during the winter of 2001-2002. We have two new lifts - installed during the winter of 2002 - each with a capacity of six people and equipped with all the most advanced technique regarding security and service. Apart from a complete fire detection system we also have closed-circuit TV covering all entrances to the hotel. The hotel has its own emergency power generator, 2 garages for bicycles, piped music, TV room, extensive solarium terrace, all installations are automated and controlled from a central computer and, furthermore, a reverse osmosis water cleaning system. All 158 rooms have a balcony with clothesline, fitted carpets and furniture. All have been completely renovated with carpets and include a complete bathroom with hair drier and mirror. All rooms are also fitted with air conditioning cold/hot, internal radio, satellite TV. Telephone with direct exterior lines, possibility to hire safe deposit box, fire detectors controlled from the reception, locks for cards for security and safety. On the terrace around the swimming pool there are tables and sun chairs, hammocks and parasols freely at the disposal of our guests. Showers, toilets and, for our disabled guests, we have restrooms in a quiet and secluded area. Indoor pool heated in winter. Our ping-pong table is at the end of the pool, free of cost. Balls and rackets can be obtained at the reception. Two bicycle garages are at the disposal of our guests. In the bar we have live performances every night, flamenco, duos, discoteque and international shows all of which are announced in advance.
