Welcome to The Original Raj

The original raj hotel is the UK¿s first Indian themed hotel and is located in Murrayfield. It is centrally located and many attractions are within walking distance, including Edinburgh castle, The King¿s Theatre, Princes Street and Princes Street Gardens, the Palace of Holyroodhouse and Edinburgh Playhouse Theatre. The hotel offers 17 comfortable and modern bedrooms which are all spacious and furnished with a traditional Indian theme with colours to convey a warm, peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. They have a variety of rooms on offer including family sized and deluxe suite. All of their rooms feature Indian canopy beds, handmade Indian furniture and furnishings, flat screen television, direct dial telephone, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer and an iron, ironing board and a trouser press are available upon request. The suite also features a spacious lounge area.
