Welcome to Mercure Edinburgh City Princes

A very good location and a good standard hotel. Please be aware that the hotel does not accept single sex groups.(BL 10/2006) ## Location The hotel is situated in the heart of Edinburgh along the famous Princes Street. The hotel has a small entrance located between the shops. All the main attractions are nearby and the Castle is opposite. A perfect location for exploring the city! ## Distance 9 kms to the nearest airport (edinburgh airport) 1 km to the nearest station (waverley) 1 minute walk to the nearest bus stop ## Rooms The bedrooms are medium in size and quite modern and colourful in decor. The bathrooms are very clean and have a bath and shower. Rooms on the front of the building have spectacular views of the city and the Castle. All rooms have a modem point. ## Restaurant The Princes dinning room overlooks the famous Princes street and is located on the first floor. It is very big and bright and offers a la carte and carvery menus, and is popular with local shoppers who use it as a coffee stop. The tables are arranged in a very spacious way. ## Exterior This is a traditional building and is in keeping with the rest of Princes Street. There are large windows on the first floor and flags above the entrance. ## Lobby The lobby is located on the first floor, but there is a porter located on the ground floor, along with 2 lifts. There is a long receptions desk and a few seats and the restaurant leads on from the lobby.
