The Alecsa Olympiastadion in Berlin offers its guests the opportunity to stay in the western district of the city. As it is located on the outskirts of Berlin¿s bustling city centre metropolis, the hotel has the advantage of a calm atmosphere, with sights such as Lake Stoessensee only a ten minute walk from the front door. The Hotel offers a bicycle rental facility along with parking, which is not common with inner city hotels. The hotel encourages its visitors to hire bicycles and explore the local forests and natural landscapes such as the Judischer Friedhof Charlottenburg Park, which includes a World War II memorial and cemetery. This area of the city is near to a number of Berlin attractions such as the Funkturm Berlin which is Berlin¿s radio tower and one of its most prominent landmarks built in 1924 and now maintains the status of a protected monument. The tower also houses Berlin¿s famous Funkturm Restaurant, which combines beautiful views with fabulous cuisine at dizzying heights. The Waldbuhne stadium is very close to the hotel and often guests will stay at the Alecsa Olympiastadion in order to attend the concerts and shows held there. Similarly the Olympic stadium is very close for any sports exhibitions taking place there.
