Just off the coast of Barbados lies the popular fishing village of Bathsheba, in the parish of St Joseph with 5,000 inhabitants. The town has been quite a number of churches which includes, St Joseph Anglican church was built on horse hill in 1640, Little St Joseph chapel in 1837 which was dedicated to St Aiden 1904 following a landslide. There is also a tropical Rainforest known as the Rich Joe’s River which is located on the outskirts of the town with some 35 acres, of woodland and rainforest. Bathsheba popular beach is known at the Soup Bowl where surfing competition takes place annually.
Attraction in Bathsheba:
There’s a national park known as Cabin john Regional Park, there’s also Bethesda Blues and Jazz super club.
