Located close to the city centre of Amsterdam, the Movenpick is located on the waterfront in a newly renovated area of downtown Amsterdam, close to Jamie Olivers Fifteen, the Panama restaurant and nightclub,and next to the Muzeikgebouw and PTA (passenger terminal for cruiseships). The city centre and Central Station are easily acessible by foot or public transport.The bedrooms are large and luxurious and offer all the facilities one would expect from a hotel of this calibre. They are decorated in neutral colours and have windows overlooking the city of Amsterdam or the River Ij. The bathrooms are, like the bedrooms, in very good conditionThe main restaurant is the Silk Road restaurant serving all meals and located on one of the higher floors of the hotel with outstanding views. It serves an eclectic East meets West cusine and is possibly one of the largest hotel restaurants in Amsterdam with various areas decorated in varying styles but each offering a certain amount of intimacy. Their is also a bar located on the ground floor and this also serves less formal meals.This is a modern and purpose built hotel with the distinct Movenpick logo.The lobby is very large and incorporates numerous seating areas, an internet corner and meeting area.This is a very good product in a new part of Amsterdam and offers the guest first class accommodation and facilities in a good location and comes highly recommended.- The hotel requires a deposit during check-in. -
