The Hotel Java is at the western end of the Playa de Palma, approximately 500 metres from the C`an Pastilla harbour and the resort centre, and 100 metres from the beach. The resort has a selection of shops, bars and restaurants. The resort of El Arenal is at the other end of the long beach of Playa de Palma and the promenade follows the shoreline.
