The Sant Agusti Hotel is Barcelona¿s oldest hotel and first opened its doors to guests in 1840. It is in the historical building of the former Convent of Saint Augustine which was built in 1720, in a quiet location overlooking a square in the centre of Barcelona just 50 metres from the Ramblas, next to the Liceu Opera House and the Boqueria Marquet. Most areas of Barcelona are accessible on foot although nearby there is a bus stop and the Liceu metro station.
