- Siem Reap (3 nights): Visit Kampong Kleang floating village on Tonle Sap Lake to catch a glimpse of local life. Continue on to Beng Melea, a temple lost in the jungle. - Phnom Penh (1 night): Enjoy an afternoon of sightseeing, including the Royal Palace, SIlver Pagoda and the charming Nional Museum. Visit Tuol Sleng, a former prisoner of war internment and later ascend Wat Phnom for a view of the city.
- Saigon (4 nights): You can see the Notre Dame Cathedral, the neoclassical Central Post Office, the Reunification Palace and the War Remnants Museum. Travel to Ben Tre for your Mekong Delta cruise. The delta region produces huge amounts of rice, coconuts, vegetables and tropical fruits. Life here revolves around the river. Take a cycle tour through the verdant fields and meet the local people. Visit the striking Holy See of Cao Dai - a religion that is native to Vietnam and blends a number of different faiths. Continue to the Cu CHi tunnels, part of a network of excavations used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War.
- Hoi An (3 nights): Wander the old streets visiting the Japanese Bridge before taking tea at a traditional tea house.
- Hue (1 night): Take a cyclo tour of the Imperial CItadel and later cruise on the Perfume river to see the beautiful Thien Mu Pagoda. Visit the extravagent Tomb of Minh Mang, an emperor whose reign is remembered for his opposition to French colonial rule.
- Hanoi (3 nights): Explore the Ho Chi Minh Quarters to learn about Uncle Ho. Later, visit the revered Temple of Literature before wandering the Old Quarter. Later meet a local water puppeteer who will give you an introduction to the local art.
- Halong Bay (1 night): Halong Bay is a vision of beauty to which very little compares. Sail on emerald waters amongst karst peaks aboard a traditionally-designed junk, stopping to explore en route. Spend the night anchored amongst glorisou scenery. (ww)
