Mount Fuji, the highest volcano and highest peak in Japan, is the symbol of the country and one of the most popular destinations for excursions. Recognized as a Cultural Site, it was added to the World Heritage Site of UNESCO. Thousands of people climb Mount Fuji every year, enjoying the 360° spectacular view of the island it offers. There are four major routes from the fifith station to the summit with and an additional four routes from the foot of the mountain.
