Benefiting from a special status regarding the Replublic of China, Hong Kong is the richest city in China and Asia's world city. But if you imagine Hong Kong as city with only big buildings without charm and beauty, then you are wrong. The main advantage of Hong Kong is the fact that it is a sophisticated and international city with a cultural diversity and a cosmopolitan lifestyle, all of this combined with a natural beauty: Hong Kong is home to several natural parklands and spectacular sceneries.
There, you will of course be able to spend one or more days at Hong Kong Disneylan, the only Disney theme park in China. But Disneyland is not the only theme park in Hong Kong. There is also for example the Ocean Park, a marine-life theme park featuring animal exhibits, thrill rides and shows.
Apart from theme parks, the city offers many attractions, such as The Peak, the highest point on Hong Kong Island, the Ladies' market or the Won Tai Sin Temple, a beautifully ornamented temple, home to three religions (Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism).
